Experience
|
|
Ms. Reid has been with Furey, Doolan & Abell, LLP for
30 years
and has experience with a broad spectrum of civil practice. Her
practice primarily focuses on commercial real estate
transactions. In recent years she has been
increasingly involved in issues pertaining to land use regulatory
matters including zoning, subdivision, special uses, and permitting.
She serves as both general and land use counsel to private schools
and child care facilities and values the resulting collaboration
with top education and business executives to achieve successful
and stable programs.
Besides her real estate and land use practices, Ms. Reid frequently
partners with the firm's estate practitioners to assist in managing
probate/trust real estate assets. She enjoys creative problem-solving
and brings a pragmatic, steady approach to counselling her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, she was Associate General Counsel for
the Administrative Office of U.S. Courts from 1975-1977, and served
as Law Clerk to the Honorable Rita C. Davidson, then sitting as
Associate Judge for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals (1974-1975).
She now serves as the firm's Managing Partner.
